Maria Karakostanoglou

Maria Karakostanoglou is a Core Energetics practitioner and somatic psychotherapist based in Athens, Greece, with 25 years of experience in body-based work. She holds a BSc in Applied Psychology and brings a background in kinesiology and neurodevelopmental movement, including primitive reflex integration.

Her work rests on a simple conviction: the body holds our history, and it also holds our capacity to change. She pairs Core Energetics' attention to energy, character and the heart with a pace informed by how the nervous system works.

She works with adults individually and in groups, with a particular interest in neurodivergent adults. She currently serves as an assistant in the Core Energetics training in Greece.
